Of little use towing it I would think, so guess they may have driven the Saracen in reverse
There has been a photo on another forum of something similar, fitted to the front of a Ferret and used in Cyprus.
Not sure if it was in Oman, but in that area somewhere, a Stalwart was regularly driven up and down the runway every morning checking for mines laid overnight. If one was found it usually resulted in a wheel station being blown off. REME would put it back together, ready for the next time. Should have said, the driver was fully strapped in..........bet that was a nerve wracking job
