The breach ring itself is made out of 2 inch thick plate steel that was welded together and then the outside contours were machined using a 3 axis computer driven mill as well as a standard mill. The block weighed in excess of 200 pounds before it was milled, but we did not weight it afterwards. Like yours the hardware for the propane cannon is hidden inside. The breach opening handle and the buffer are original pieces. I was fortunate that when I received my Sexton from SECO it had the original barrel that had been cut and also one complete set of breach ring parts and about 2/3rds of a second set along with two breach blocks. They were all neatly tucked inside the radio compartment.
