That's an interesting link, Hanno!
I was looking at the "Dunlop Trak Grip Blackwall 900x16" , which looks pretty close to the wartime Michelin tread also seen on British vehicles. (Egbert has 2 on his Dodge)

the PDF also includes the actual Michelin tyre, but it seems it wasn't available at the time. I wonder if it's since been reproduced, as France40 vehicles have them fitted to some of their restored vehicles.
