C11Q -17757A and C111Q-17757 both appear in the parts list for the FGT as "Bar - Front Bumper". Manual FGT-01.

There are 5 bumper bars listed:
C01Q-17757 used to serial number 5579
C01Q-17757A used to motor serial 2G-7046-F, will accommodate GM cable takeoff
C01Q-17757B will accommodate cable takeoff bracket and towing attachment bracket (Ford type since GM isn't mentioned?) When stock deleted, supply C111Q-17757
C111Q-17757 used from serial 5580 will accommodate cable takeoff and towing brackets - also has hooks for scotch hawser hooks. When stock depleted supply C29Q-17757.
C29Q-17757 used from serial 104455

Do the "normal" Ford and Chev tow rings use the same bolt pattern? I know the cable guide with integrated tow ring uses a bolt pattern on the bumper that is only slightly different than the standard Chev pattern as we ran into this on Bob Carriere's bumper. (making the holes slightly oversize will accommodate the difference.) The base casting had a GM style part number cast in but that doesn't mean it wasn't also used on Fords.
Is it possible that you have a FGT bumper bar, set up for the winch cable guide and not for the standard Ford tow ring on the left? Does the right side have hole pattern to fit the standard Ford tow ring?
