Also one of two types used on the Wireless Set No.52.

I found they are still available if you look for companies dealing in vintage aircraft parts, for private aircraft built in the 40’s and 50’s. A common cowl and panel fastener. They come in various sizes by the way.

Airloc and Shakeproof are two companies that make this item and there is a third company who’s name escapes me at the moment. The part that locks into these are called ‘studs’. These bits are called ‘cowl receptacles’ or ‘stud receptacles’.
