I've been thinking about it all day, as, I'm sure, all the ex-Royals here. Bruce, I thank you for your pics of Puys. Particularly apropos this day.
What a hell of an anniversary.... but the Canadian Army Overseas came of age and learned lots, at the expense of 907 dead. Not their fault, of course, but perhaps one more brick in the wall of independence of mind.
And I'm sure the dead of Dieppe are proud of the way the lads handled themselves subsequently in Italy and NW Europe.
