The chassis looks pretty good from what we can see, won't know for certain until we rip the body off.

The LC3 gearbox is not compatible , nothing from it will fit the CS8 .
I have bits & pieces from four CS8's , if you need anything , let me know .
Being over engineered, the rear axles tend to last forever .
You will find the brake system interesting eg copper brake pipes with single flared ends
You will need two replacement LEYRUB rubber joints for the prop shaft to the rear axle . Commer trucks of the 1950's used the same joint , a chap over here has got new ones, but he wants an arm and a leg for them
