You clearly have the ability to take photographs, though
Just photograph each page as large and as straight as you can. Laying a sheet of slightly frosted glass over it will make this easier in case of a book you can’t take the pages out of, but is not absolutely necessary.
Also, if you have an iPhone or iPad, it probably has a built-in document scanner that will automatically straighten the image and can export the scans as a PDF file — see
