Description:

This vehicle, Serial number 2596, was purchased by the Memorial in 2003. The vehicle type was used by Australian Forces during the First World War, in particular by 4th Australian Divisional Artillery from late 1917. This particular example has been modified over the years, including the fitting of pneumatic tyres and wheels, but is still considered to be a restorable example with many original parts. While the complete history of the vehicle is unknown, it has been modified for various functions over the years and was used by the Brisbane Tramways.
Photos for above.
What a great project and I'm surprised the AWM is selling such a vehicle.
