Default brass parts

Great looking pieces, and glad to see someone is taking an interest in the small bits that are necessary for a good restoration.

In Richard Gimblett's book on the Canadian campaign in Gulf War One, he describes how the HMCS Protector began getting calls from every minor (and major) navy running patrols in the Persian Gulf. Pro' was a replenishment ship, and well trained for alongside refueling at sea. Soon the machinists had accumulated or made fittings for every vessel she could expect. At the end of the cruise someone had to inventory these fittings. It came down to one unknown. An old salt is quoted as saying, 'It's big, it's brass. It must be British.'
