**** I have had the .303 for many years.... On a recent deer hunt, one of the young pups brought in Lee Enfield he had acquired. He spent 5 days wondering if it was a shooter and worth keeping. On the last day of the hunt, a Turkey Shoot was organized. Every man would get two shots.... the best shot would win. Proper targets were set up at approxmately 40 yrds. and the shooting began. I keyholed my two shots in the bullseye....
won a 26 ounce turkey
and left the camp anxious to dig up the old .303 for next years hunt. I guess you can say the .303 bit me.....
