Fiberals to ban Handguns

Thanks for starting off what will surely be a long and vocal thread.
After hearing just part of the PM's news conference this am you would have to think that legitimate gun collectors are the major part of Toronto's current crime problems. Also, Martin's continued references to the great Australian gun control 'model' are very concerning.
You can't say we weren't warned years ago what would happen. It shouldn't be hard to get the legitimate guns in now. The government knows where to go for them. While I don't support all the NRA in the USA stands for, you have to admire them recognizing the thin edge of the wedge on restrictive legislative proposals and acting strongly.
