DON'T DO THAT!!!
Last year my carrier, with a similar set-up, had the generator shaft break with the fan destroying the radiator! The generator shaft is not strong enough to hold both the fan and the force of the V belts.
I have photos of the incident but do not no how to reduce size so I can post them...
