As it happens I'm getting some Norton (Big4) motorcycle parts made for a guy in Oz and a guy in NZ. So I just typed in a sample 5KG parcel 30x30x30cm and they're quoting just over 30 Quid.
I try to avoid buying stuff from the States. Shipping is usually expensive and we can also get hit with 20% extra VAT plus £8 for Parcelforce to collect the VAT  Ron |
For imports from USA or anywhere for that matter, make sure you have the UK Import Tariff written clearly on the customs documentation - that should result with at most 5% duty and no VAT, subject to the item of course.
