A nice pic of the WS 128, These are a unique Australian HF infantry radio set, designed late WW2 and used in Korea.
The control harness featured either a telephone style handset or the little throat mic with the small US pattern earpiece headphones.
Utilizing miniature tubes, everything was crammed inside the set, access for maintenance was a nightmare.
I have owned a few of these and a ham friend used one on the 80mx ham band to contact me in Tasmania from his QTH in Melbourne.
The transmitter can be XTAL locked . There were at least two versions of this set made.
