The region of the museum and hence where the Jeep is displayed was liberated by the Canadian 3rd Division in November 1944 ( see also:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Scheldt )
So we decided that the Jeep was to be marked for a unit of that Division, and since the curator/owner of the museum was made an Honorary member of the
Stormont Glengary and Dundas Highlanders a few years ago, that seemed the most logical choice...
