Love your LRDG units. I thought I might show you my two 1940 Chevs. 1 LRDG 1 not.

Here are a couple of photos of my 1940 Chev LRDG ex.New Zealand. T patrol (T3). Originally a left hand drive vehicle, it was converted to right hand drive in 1948 as the Australian road rules at that time banned left hand drive vehicles. Originally restored by the late Vic Phillips, I have just recently put it back on the road after Vic died and left it to me in his will last year.

The 1940 Chev staffcar is ex. General Stanley Savige, commander of the 17th Brigade 6th Australian Division 1940/ 1941. The cammo is of the Syrian campain July 1940 against the Vichy French. I have had it since 1993 when I discovered it in a hay shed and purchased it for the great sum of two dollars. ($2.00). We have driven it all over eastern Australia in cluding Darwin and all points east of Alice Springs.
