Hell of a story indeed! This amphibious jeep was less well known than
"Half Safe", but Tortuga deserves a place in history.
And you now what: it still survives! It was sold in 2014

It was sold and I would not be surprised if it is converted back to mil spec. Another converted GPA in Canada awaits the same fate.
