Hello Stuart,
The ceremony was very emotional and I let the younger brother of the Pfc Montcalm to pour the ashes of Jean-Marie Leroy in the hole where his brother Conrad is buried. For me, this ceremony was very hard because I left in this place the last link I had with the veteran friend Jean-Marie Leroy.
I want to thank Lcol John Roeterink who works as Canadian Defence Attaché to The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden & Finland in the
Embassy of Canada in the Netherlands, as well as Dr Ian Hussein who has served as director of the
Commonwealth War Grave Commission, for making this project happen.
