Here is my serial number:

0842109189

The truck doesn’t have any other numbers or data plates on it.
Thanks
Paul,

The first number "0" represents 1940 model. 8421 is the GM Canada code for the model (C15 4x2). So it should be truck number 9189. So, that serial should be correct for a 1940 C15.

The interesting bit is that the parts manual says the vents came in at truck number 2521. But of course the parts book could very easily be wrong; wouldn't be the first time!

Are there any other numbers on the serial plate? Or an engine number on the flat area near the distributor?

Owen.
