Thanks Grant. I am certain that the winch is not an original fitment. I have photos of the truck dating back to the mid 50's and it is evident the winch was only fitted in the late 60's when the F15 was used to operate a jib in a quarry. I do not intend to keep the winch there, but plan to mount it to
Tony's F60L so we can use it for recovering other vehicles. What I am trying to establish is the origins of the winch.
And yes, the driveshaft for the winch IS llooonnngggggg.
