I have a half dozen NOS hiding in the shed, but they aren't going anywhere I'm afraid.
After that teaser, I will say that they could be fabricated and gum dipped with tool dip available at Cdn tire (and others). If you heat them to reddish colour and quench in oil, or else reddish in collour and cover them in dry sand so they slowly cool, you can likely get some spring tension out of them. However do that before you gum dip them.
They can also be found with leather covering rather than the gum dip.
Oooops, I just noticed the poster in in Copenhagen....no Canadian tire stores there I suppose.
