The item is an external MG accessory so not a restricted export, but Crane will not deal with foreign customers, or post to Australia.
It may not be a Restricted Import into Australia, but it may very well be a Prohibited Export out of the US. The US State Department prohibits the export of any ex-military item (defined as "unclassified Defense Items") without State Dept approval. In fact, sales within the country can only be made to US Citizens, not residents or visitors.

It's a bit of a nightmare to understand it all, but here's the Law and Law, and the Procedure. Better to read up on it first than be placed on some US blacklist.
