Rob, I merged your posting into this thread as it has been on MLU before.

I won't comment on the price, but it certainly seems to be a very good and original example of the breed. As it came from the UK originally, it must be one of the unused & still crated Carriers which were disposed of to the public many decades ago.

The Windsor Carrier is the rarest of all carriers built during the World War II.
Only 5005 were made, only a few are remaining.

This is an original example with one repaint.
