Hello Terry.

Basically a nice looking item, though some accessories are missing, a couple may not belong to the set itself and it’s hard to tell from the photos but the morse key socket looks like it might have a broken key plug sticking out of it.

Pricing it will depend on how complete it is internally and if it works.

A general rule of thumb is the lowest price goes for a set that looks complete externally but does not work at all. These are usually just wanted by someone to either fill a hole in a collection, or a vehicle.

Price goes up if the set looks good externally and at least the intercom circuit still works. These sets are needed by AFV collectors who plan to operate their vehicles. To do so, they must have a working communications system among the crew members to operate the vehicle safely.

At the top of the scale is a good looking 19-Set that is fully operational. It will fit in any of the other two categories but with a licensed amateur radio operator on hand, it is the sort of thing at a vehicle or military show, kids line up for hours to ‘work the set’.

That’s about all I can say at this point, Terry, other than to add these sets are heavy to ship and that can influence pricing, or the willingness to purchase.

David
