The water tank is most certainly a later addition, and probably the reason why it survived in such a good condition. Had it been used for carting manure, it would have succumbed to rot many years ago.

Totally agree about saving these trailers. They are an important part of the whole MV story. Trouble is I can only tow one at a time....but it doesn't stop me "encouraging" others to restore wrecks I find.
