Hi
hi joe
This only guesswork on my part . But I believe the stuff from Canada was imported in a disassembled state .. in CKD form or similar . The Ford plant at Geelong was a large factory established in the 1920's . The main thrust of their manufacturing ability was in body work , cabs and body shells and pickup tubs . Don't know if they made any fenders or hoods or grilles ,I don't think they did, I think those parts were Nth American sourced. They made the roadster cab seen on the Marmons and the 1 ton utes .
They have a museum at Geelong , the Ford discovey centre I think its called , it is staffed by people who will answer any queries . One of our own MV collectors worked there , he now works at the National auto Museum In South Aust. Matthew Lombard , a kiwi who is into WW2 Humbers .He is a auto historian by proffession.
Dont know what BPC chassis means
Mike
