suppose value is in the eye of the beholder... things that would bother me about the price especially for that mk2.... the lower 3" of all the armour is more than likely rotted so will need chopped out and replaced...then re rivetted...replace the front armour, remove the mods... and find all the missing internals... lots to do there !


the Mk1 IMHO is a good one to get as the hull is in good shape and predominantly complete... but in my humble opinion is not worth more than 9k in its present state... and the wheels stacked up in front of it are all de laminated from the cast so i am guessing wont last 5 mins on a run.

you would spend i reckon at least 20k getting them completed (if done yourself) and as you say Alastair if it was done by a pro the project would rapidly become unviable through expense alone.

what i feel sorry for is some person may pay that asking price then come here...read our comments on value and feel pretty ripped off.

nowt worse than buying a new toy to have folks say you been had
