Default 1944 Chev C15A Wire-3

Gents:
Selling my 44 Chev Wire-3.

Bought in 2002, was a snow plow. All civvy mods removed. Frame had been cut to install 2 spd. case, solid and straight reattachment. Running restoration except for a time in 2002-04 when the whole cab was stripped right down to bare steel, patches migged in, finished and painted. Original wood steering wheel refinished and reinstalled.

Had Pontiac 261 installed sometime in the 60's or 70's, runs well. Actually it has run pretty much continuously since I brought it home. Starts runs stops (brakes still need new rear lines). Full set of 4 tire chains (indispensable...), 2 extra 16 inch rims with old tires, one extra 20 inch rim with tire. Needs new rubber if it's to be taken on the road. I've been running it on my property with the original set of tires for 10 years, and aside from getting stuck in the mud after I forgot to put the chains on, they've been fine for x-country.

Chorehorse mounted on left step. Box may be available (may also be the exact box that came off this chassis 40 years ago, not yet brought home).

Stored inside since I got it, and for the previous 30 years+.
Thousands of hours put in on it.

Asking 7000 or best offer.
Pile of 19 set gear may also be included if desired.

Outside of Ottawa.

Cheers
Don
