Good questions. The navigation is accomplished via 16 thumbnail images per page. There are 41 "pages" of Ford images and 26 "pages" of GM photos. Each "full size" image is 650 pixels wide. The galleries are set up using Photoshops Web Gallery function. The file names are the actual photo number which is included in the scan. For the GM photos, I also scanned the paper indices and thes have some additional information of use to the CMP fan.
The browser is built-in to the CD so no external software is required. Works with Windows only although the individual images can be opened in a Mac as they arestandard JPG format. Best viewed with your monitor set to 1024 x 768.
