Have a look at the back of the glass bulb..... it should have three raised alingment tabs raised and molded as part of the glass.
It is possible these raised glass alignment tabs are not resting properly into the metal cup/bowl...... or your bowl may not have the necessary cut out ofr the raised tabs.....
Let me know what you find....
