Dave, Nope! They're not unfortunately. I'd think they'd be from brake cables.
They have a 1/4" BSF thread and the big dia is 15/16". The "spigot' part (fits in a hole?) is about 9/16"
They make me think of Morris handbrake, but not quite the same.
The first item is a weld nut (3/8" UNF)
The square headed bolt is 1/2" UNF (Ford car brake backing plate?)
The brass (bronze?) plug is 9/16" UNF (18tpi)
This stuff came from a place that was mostly war surplus (WWII)
