Default Travelling To Corowa in 2008, Please Stop in at the Yass Show

I put forward an invitation to those who may be travelling to Corowa in 2008. The annual Yass Show will be held over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of March just a day or to before Corowa starts to wind up on the 10th.

The show is typical of this type of event held throughout Australia; there will be Sheep, Alpacas, fancy parrots a cow or two, cakes, jams and a sideshow too.

As horse events will be thin on the East Coast this year a vintage tractor pull will be held over the two days with a bullock team also in the event. There will be a large display of vintage machinery operating over the whole weekend.

Also on Sunday my favourite, the wood chopping; at the Yass show you are up nice and close to the action.

The main public display day for military vehicles and cars will be Sunday 9th were people from the whole district will attend, if you are looking for a stop with a difference turn off the highway at the Yass sign and follow the signage to the show ground.

Driver of a vintage vehicle will enter for free with passenger half price, you are welcome to camp on site overnight for $15.00. Need to know more just ask.
