The set with both its LP and HP supply units sits on the Ford factory supplied base on the right, rear side. The 11 set carrier bolts to it on four rubber shock mounts. Power comes from the rear battery box through the conduit and connects to the set. The aerial lead goes from the set to the No.5 condenser on top and from there to the folding aerial base on the rear right. Headsets and the mic plug into the set so there are no control units. Under the set carrier are two wooden battens and these are were the 11 set face cover/seat slides in when the set is in use. I expect the 11 set waterproof cover was used unlike the specific one for the later 19 set that covered the whole installation and fastened under the firing rests.
