CHEVROLET C60L 1944
Price: € 6.500
Location:Franeker
CHEVROLET C60L built in 1944 with double cabin. This cabin is not original but very functional. Behind the front seats is a sofa and you can sit well with five adults in the cabin. There is plenty of cupboard space and two benches that can be built into a spacious double bed. We slept well with two adults and two children in the car.
Car is technically good and completely restored in 2009. Everything on the car has been separated from the last bolt and nut and repaired / replaced where necessary.
Fully blasted and again well-painted.
Engine is an original 216qi which belongs in this car. The engine has been overhauled and is now equipped with hardened valve seats.
In the entire car where necessary, the bearings are replaced and all oil times rings.
The radiator is equipped with a new inside work.
Brake servo remanufactured and currently not mounted.
A year and a half ago the brake drums were turned out and the brake shoes were fitted with new liners. Also the wheel brake cylinders were replaced.
The car is equipped with a 12 volt alternating current alternator and the rest of the electrical installation is also 12 volts. Halogen H4 headlights.
Car weighs about 3800kg so you need a truck driver's license.
The car comes with:
-Jute camouflage just over the bucket.
-Custom-made cushions for the couch / bed.
-Extra revised carburetor.
-2 spare lamp units as donated to the rear side.
-Extra coupling plate.
-Full set of universal joints for the drive shafts.
-3 times usable petrol can as on photo.
-Set extra heavier for springs.
-Extra gearbox (has been full of water)
-All other spare parts that I still have.
All in all a very nice (I think) technically good and great driving car.
