My No 9 was not restored until 1990, I am thinking of recovering the doors in canvas, fitting the GT larger fuel tanks & relocating the battery back to the origanal box between the seats.

Way to go, Euan - those 21 gall tanks look just right. We'll have to equip it with a set of 10.50 20 tyres for the photo session.
Can you fit a big enough battery into that small battery box?
