Axle was made from Land Rover stubs welded to 4mm steel tube. The 'hand brake' assembly is entirely fake, but if I get enthusiastic, it could be made functional as the actuator rod has since had a cam added, to press against the inside of LR brake shoes. That is if I choose to put the shoes in. The Land Rover axle stubs, hubs, backing plates, brake drums and wheels, have all been used for effect.
