Default Western Command

It was a western command Biannual convoy. I backed out with my CMP only 3 days before it left the lower mainland. I figured between 4500 to 5500 in gas for the trip, too much and to hard to maintain the convoy speed with several LSVW's a leyland DAF, 40 Ford staff car and an assortment of M151 and Chevy CC types.
Convoy had to reroute and missed both venues and participants because of the fires and hiway closures.
ended on a somber note in the end as at the very remote bell2 lodge Dave King (Crazy Dave) died of a heart attack just days after his 62nd Birthday. Andy hill and Dave Beale are sometimes MLU contributors as is Dave Good (SuperDave). Posting became very light as we spent most of our focus on getting Dave Kings dog and car back here and to his family just across the line in Washington state, funeral etc. Kind of took the pride out of an otherwise awesome journey.
