Default Smashing the brake drums.....

What a primitive way of fixing a simple problem......

Not sure what measurements are critical...... IMHO there are only two kinds....the ones with 6 studs and the one with 8 studs. According to the parts manual, which lists 3 set of two....they also not that once a certain part number is exhausted to use the next and so on.....so it implies they all fit.

I would suggest you take your wheels apart and carefully document the order things came off in..... you may have an early one (doubtful on a cab 12) with a spacer between bearings and important shims that will pre adjust the tension on your bearings.....save the shims...clean them and make note of which wheel / side they came from.......... and remember to take photos.....keep your bearings in plastic sandwich bags ... they may need replacing and so will your oil seal inside the brake drum. Revisit Stephan and ask how to visually tell/measure for differences........ and post the results so that we can all learn.

There must be someone closer to you on the Island that has done this before.

Good luck
