I have placed an order at an Engineering firm to have 8 more of these made to assist others in their restoration. Delivery should be late Feb 18.
A couple of years ago I had a machine shop put these items into CAD and had about 6 made, which all sold thankfully as it was a large outlay. I required 2 for my projects.
The CAD was done from an original, these will be all steel as they are stronger. The original mount was brass and often bent or broke when catching it on something or young children use it as a hand hold.

The cost back then was about AU$180 + postage.

Cost will depend on numbers required and the cost of the raw materiel. The more required the cost comes down, only 2-3 the cost may be higher. At this stage, I can increase the order number if/as required.
