Default MV Colour Run Convoy - Sept. 29th.

Hello to all OMVA Members and MV Enthusiasts. Although summer is not over as yet, we hope you’ve enjoyed it so far and have been able to get out with your MV. Sorry for the short notice on this but fellow OMVA member Frank Von Rosenstiel is organizing a MV Colour Run Convoy for Saturday September 29th and invites all those who are interested to come out and join in on the fun. This is not just for OMVA members. The convoy will be an all back roads run (no dirt roads) with a lunch stop mid way. Speed will be approximately 45 mph and hence a run time of about four hours is to be expected. This will take place in the area Southeast to Northeast of Lake Simcoe. Start point or convoy form up point will be on Smith Blvd at Weir's Sideroad with vehicles facing east towards the intersection. We will be going through the following towns and villages; Udora, Sunderland, Cambray, Fenlon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Silver Lake , Burnt River, Coboconk, Norland, Sebright, Dalrymple, Kirkfield Lift Lock, Kirkfield, Argyle, Coffee stop at Tim's , Hwy 48 and County 8 , Port Bolster , then back to Pefferlaw. Lunch stop will be in Coboconk.
Military vehicles only…please. There should be space for a few co-drivers…just ask. Please ensure that gas tanks and jerry cans are full. Dress warm in layers so that you can shed some if need be and please ensure you have your basic vehicle tool kit and a minor spare parts kit. Folks are welcome to join in where and when they wish , but if you decide to leave the convoy during the route YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE so that there is no confusion for the control vehicles and crews, this is a rain or shine event.
If this is of interest, please contact Frank for details or any other questions you might have. Easiest way to reach Frank is by email or private message here on MLU. vonrosenstiel@globalserve.net
