I have a long-term interest in restoring old machinery to working order and as a licensed - but not currently active - radio amateur (G8WMQ) I recently bought an R109AT receiver in apparently complete but not in working order.

I have found and replaced 2 valves with broken filaments and I have returned the 6v vibrator to working order so now there is HT - I think! Still no audio output - not even 'crackle' though!

Can anyone tell me the test voltages that should appear at the test points on the back of the chassis, and better still, what problem might be indicated by readings other than the correct ones?

Are there images of any relevant instruction manuals - other than the circuit diagram at the back of the cabinet?

Any guidance would be most gratefully received so that signals might also be!

Many thanks, Ian H
