Kevin,
I think the axle is the same basic part but the UC has a special adaptor which houses the speedo drive and coupling gear for attachment to the Gearbox output shaft where as the Loyd uses the 'normal' torque tube arrangement. Brakes, hubs, sprockets (not sure on back plates) are all the same as UC with the exception of the drum, which is specially designed by Loyd.
