A local swap meet today
Spotted this rare 1939 Chevy ute with original GMH body . A barn find from Northern Vic. , amazing , it was taken off the road in 1952 (the 1952 rego label is still on it) . I have two 1940 models - wrecks , many of these were used by the AIF of course . At least now I can measure this one and make a body up
The Furphy tank is on a original chassis .
The De Soto is a ex Sth African embassy car . The owner had a nasty fright on his way to the event , a wheel came loose and almost came off . He found the nuts inside the hub cap .
