Default workshop platoon no. 2 section in Hanover 1952

This photo jogged my memory.
These photos are of the workshop platoon in Hanover, 1952.
This was my late brother-in-law's outfit.
There is a Diamond T behind the no.2 section.
As for the WC51's, as Becker and Dentzer point out in their book, the Canadian D3/4APT "was so different from the original WC-52", and since some 12 000 trucks were manufactured, it is unlikely the Canadian army would purchase and use the US WC-52. As an aside, Dodge in Detroit soon adopted modifications from the Canadian truck most notable being improved access on the driver's side and the dashboard.
They also point out that at this time in the war (1945), there really was no justification for building this truck.

When I bet more free time, I will post more photos from the 1950's, plus some photos from 1941 of CMP's.
