Hello to All,
I picked up the 6 Pdr last Tuesday. Manuals arrived Friday, thanks to Rob van Meel.
The Gun appears to be correct for a MkII Gun on a Mk1 Carriage build in 1942.
I tried to find out on the internet who produced UK built 6 Pdr's but drew a blank. The Carriage has a data plate that reads VA Ltd. I think that will be Vickers Armstrong Ltd? As one of the biggest manufacturers they probably also made the Guns? Anybody got more info on this?
Now the hunt for CES can commence. Anybody got anything in 6 Pdr stuff they have double or want to sell regardless?
