| Never seen one of these..

Just received some photos from an event held in Canungra (Queensland) the other day, among them a CMP based scout car, see pics. Also a nice C60X, don't know if it is all genuine though. Rich

| Scout car Quote:
It was sort of a mini White Scout car in the rear design with a similar skate ring.

| Australian S1 Scout Car

At the recent MJCQ swap meet and display weekend at Canungra, Queensland Oz, this ultra-rare australian S1 Scout Car made its restoration debut. Of the approximately 40 built (including a single 4WD version) only two are still in existence. This is the restored and driveable example, the other being in Sid Beck's Museum in Mareeba FNQ. This is a still frame from my video of the event: Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n--C0uVX_Ew Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVkLla4Kl-A Steve. (Didn't see this earlier thread about it, thanks Mods for joining it up) Last edited by Snowy; 11-11-08 at 12:40. |
