Default Old Forum unavailable

I was looking for information on the Penguin snowmobile series and the C8AX recently and Google turned up links to the old forum. Clicking the link got me the following:

"Sorry...
This Network54 forum has been disabled due to a breach of the Network54 User Agreement by the owner of this forum.

Network54 does not allow forums that contain or contain links to nudity, sex, pornography, illegal activities, unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted material(s) (including 'warez' boards), mail fraud and pyramid schemes, hatred and racism of any kind, guns or firearms, or any other material that may be deemed libelous or offensive to another individual or organization."

Have others gotten the same nonsense when trying to access old postings?
If the problem isn't how I'm trying to access the forum, what is the alleged problem? Did someone mention a weapon in a favourable sense? Or mention that they liked ladies? Or some other indiscretion against the thought police?

Leaving aside the question of why, is there a way to access the mine of information in the old forum?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Obviously, something's buggered up there. I shall have to contact them today and identify myself (and us) as legitimate.

Thanks for the heads-up, Grant.

Might be a good idea to keep that Network54 site alive, and not just for archive reasons. If these B****** outages keep up, we might need to migrate back there!!

I've seen no outages on this end, Tony, just the occasional blip usually remedied by doing a simple refresh. I AM looking to relocate us, but it takes money which for the present I do not have... negotiations are currently under way, but it seems like I may be "retired" from my job with a separation package shortly - then I'll be able to take care of business in short order!

I had the same outage problem again this morning (here), but as you said, a refresh seemed to remedy the situation.
I also know what you mean about being "retired"; my dad was recently "made redundant" by BP so that they could turn the local fuel depot into an unmanned depot, and he's returned to the shearing game at the grand age of 52, ha ha!
