Hi everyone, I have put this query in the carrier forum. but I guess it covers a few others besides, My question is,does anyone have a source of supply for the felt that is used to cover the Aust water bottles that are found in carriers and other vehicles, I will need quite a bit of it as I have a couple of dozen bottles that require recovering.
Thanks in advance, Regards Ron

Have you tried Disposals stores for the Vietnam era individual blanket? It's not Felt, but a wool/nylon blend and the colour/texture is about right.

Ron,
I believe you can purchase covers from Jerry Lee at What Price Glory in the USA. Cheers |

Sabre Sales in the UK used to have both British and Canadian Covers in stock. Quite what their current stock is I do not know.
British waters bottle covers were changed to a green felt during the 1930's whilst the Canadian's continued making the WW1 Tan colour. Not sure what the Austrailan pattern looks like. |
