Default Spectacular rally images

The Dakar rally held through Argentina, Chile and Peru this month is a gruelling race.

Not quite military, I know, although in this image there is a Jeep...

...It's worth visiting Boston Post to see the coverage - the images are excellent.

Must see veiwing Keith, gotta love those trucks.
Interesting to see what the story behind Robbie Gordon's (and his Hummer) disqualification is.
Unfortunatley 2012 seems to be the year of Poor Sportstmanship, going by the limited telecast we get anyway.
Rich.

Default Keith

Fantastic photos of a fantastic event. I have always been facinated by the event and by the beauty of the venues. I am jealous of all who have been involved (on the ground) , from the local spectator right through.
May the event continue forever, in the far reaches of the planet.

Keith are the images saved here for pemanent?

Not sure, Lynn. Best to download the ones you like. I've always enjoyed the quality of the images the Boston Post gathers.

This is perhaps one of the best pics in the series:

Hmmmm, thanks Alex.
Makes it all sound very political does it not? One wonders why the leading French rider was given lost time back after getting stuck in some mud, a cynic would say that the organisers are expecting a French one/two, (Go Mark Coma, Go)
